Martin Iti is struggling now at New Mexico State. But his height was always welcome at Charlotte. I hope us Charlotte 49ers can play the Cards sometime in the future, maybe even in the NCAA tourney this season...

Gupton seemed desperate for a UK comeback, even though they were behind by 15 points with less than a minute to play.

Omerod had been injured for a couple games, I'm not positive on the details though. Th game last night may have been her first one back.

Scary to see Angel go down, but her return is the thing legends are made of (if it had been closer anyway). To borrow a men's term - she's an absolute stud.

Is the announcing done by Gupton and the blonde always as poorly done as last night(blatantly rooting for the Wildcats, enjoying an opponents injury, etc) or was it simply so skewed because it was against an in state rival?
It is no wonder so many people out in the state have such an inaccurate and skewed perspective on things if this is what they hear during each game.

Not sure what you mean by "It was Marshall." These teams are made up of athletes who want to excel regardless of the school's past. You can't automatically relegate teams to the junk heap any more."

I don't buy the excuse that teams play inspired against the Cards. It just looks like the Cards don't play inspired very often anymore. Or maybe it's that the team is just not that good. It was Marshall for crying out loud, in Freedom Hall. I hope the light goes off soon like it did last year or the Cards could be looking at a sub .500 Big East record.

When Caracter produces like last night you can see why Pitino is working him so hard and,at this point,is committed to the kid. However, coach would benefit himself if he didn't talk so much.
